2024 FG FULL SCHOLARSHIP FOR NIGERIANS

Federal Government Bilateral Education Agreement Scholarship award application is now open.
The Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) is a division of the Federal Scholarship Board(FSB), a department of the Federal Ministry of Education with the mandate of policy formulation and implementation of federal government policy and programs of foreign and local scholarship awards to deserving Nigerian scholars, etc.
The Federal Ministry of Education invites all interested and qualified students to participate in the 2024/2025 BEA scholarship award.
The scholarship is for undergraduates and postgraduate students who would like to study in the following countries;
! Undergraduate:
Egypt, Morocco, Hungary, Russian
ii) Postgraduate studies in Russia, Romania, Serbia, China, and Hungary.

Value of Scholarship:

The scholarship interestingly covers the following;
_ Supplementation allowance for both postgraduates and undergraduates which helps to cover local transport, augment feeding, books, and maintenance which is equivalent to $6000 per annum
_ Accommodation and tuition fees
_ Health insurance for all students which is equivalent to $200 per annum
_ Warm clothing allowances for all scholars @ $250 per annum;
_ Take-off grant for all Undergraduate scholars equivalent to N60,000.00 once before departure;
_Postgraduates’ research grant equivalent to $1,000 per annum;
_ General medicine and medical allowance for scholars equivalent to $500 per annum; and
Passages in the form of a one-way ticket to the country of study and the sum of $2,500 paid to graduate scholars at the end of the course by the country’s Mission in the host country for the return air ticket and other incidentals for a smooth transition back to your home country.

Fields of Study:

The following field of. The study is available for all deserving students:
a. Undergraduate level – Mathematics, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Engineering, Languages, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, Social Sciences, biotechnology, medicine (very limited), etc; and
b. Postgraduate level (Masters Degree and Ph.D) in all fields.
Eligibility:
A. UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP: All prospective applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of Five (5) Distinctions (As & Bs) in the Senior Secondary School Certificates, WAEC (May/June) only in the subjects relevant to their fields of study including English Language and Mathematics.
The applicant’s Certificates should not be more than Two (2) years old (2022 & 2023).
For non-African Countries and African countries, the age of the certificate is one year (2023) only. The age limit is from 18 to 20 years.
B. POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP:
All interested applicants for Undergraduate degree courses must hold a First Degree with at least 2nd Class Upper Division.
The applicants who are previous recipients of Foreign Awards must have completed at least two (2) years post qualification or employment practice in the country.
The applicant must have completed N.Y.S.C
The applicant Age limit is 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D. and only:
_ The applicant must present evidence of readiness to be released by the employer
_ exemption certificates from N.Y.S.C only are accepted

Click on the “CREATE ACCOUNT ” and supply a valid email address and password to register
You can directly Log in to access the application form using the same email and password provided if you have registered.
Endeavor to fill out and save your information on each of the sections on the form one after the other thereafter submit your application on the last section of the form.
Should in case of an error in filling the application,
You can go back to any of the sections to edit your information and save as much as may be necessary before the application deadline.
Please, Be informed that all asterisk ( * ) fields are compulsory.
Make sure to print a copy after completing the form online.
NOTE: Avoid Double Entries as it will result in disqualification
The application is free and doesn’t attract any processing fees.
NOTE (For all Applicants):
i) Since the BEA countries are non-English speaking, applicants should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one-year foreign Language course of the Country of choice which will be the standard medium of instruction;
ii) Japan applicants must have a solid background in further mathematics;
iii) The required certificate for candidates applying for Bachelor in Imamat, Quran Teaching Professor and Imam Preacher Training for Islamic Religious studies in Algeria is WASSCE/WAEC, and no other certificate is accepted;
iv) All applicants for the Hungarian Scholarship can apply for up to two fields of study in order of preference and must visit the website http://www.stipendiumhungaricum.hu which was opened Middle of November to closed on 16th January 2024,
 Complete the application form online,
v) All Applicants are to upload the following certificates online;
a. UNDERGRADUATE: Birth Certificate, WAEC CERTIFICATE, and Indigene letter.
b. POSTGRADUATE: Birth Certificate, First Degree Certificate, WAEC CERTIFICATE, NYSC discharge certificate, and indigene letter.
NB: All Candidates nominated by the Board will be required to submit to Federal Scholarship
Board the following:
✓ National Identification Number(NIN)
✓Authenticated copies of academic certificates;
✓ Data page of the current International passport;
✓Specified Medical Reports from Government hospitals
✓ Police Clearance Certificate where necessary.
